Hétkúti Wellness Hotel and Riding Park, Mór
In the Hétkúti Wellness Hotel and Riding Park we can discover the homeland of Ezerjó in a horse and carriage after wandering round the riding-hall and tasting the specialities of the Rider Restaurant.
In this park at the foot of the Vértes Hills visitors are greeted by the sight of grazing horses and a pond hidden amongst green meadows, folds and plantation. Looking upon the walls of the buildings ornamented by beautiful painted motifs the history of the Swabians who lived here more than 300 years ago comes to life.
We can admire the beautiful panoramic view of the Vértes and the vineries of the Kecske Hill between the two buildings. The hotel building similar to a countryside mansion is fascinating. In the middle of the inner court there is a wooden pavilion which reminds us of a sanctuary. Coming from a never-stopping world we feel as if time had stopped and we are suddenly taken back in time to the world of life in the countryside 300 years ago. Not only do the surroundings preserve the old traditions but the menu also boasts of traditional Swabish dishes and local specialities. The famous kvircedli was dipped into wine or wine-soup according to tradition. The wine-soup is a speciality of German origin boiled with eggs and flavoured with spices while the chicken soup with paprika was an inevitable part of Swabian weddings.
