Fazekas Memorial House, Csákvár
Tradition and gastronomy are inseparable in Csákvár as following the footsteps of the famous pottery of Csákvár we can also discover how the making of the pots is necessary for the preparation of local specialities.
In the rooms of the 250-year-old thatched-roof cottage, the Potter Memorial House, old furniture, photos and everyday objects tell the story of this community while in the workshop tools, finished and unfinished pots reveal the past, present and future of pottery in Csákvár.
Lovers of riding are welcomed in the Gidrán Stud-farm in Csákvár. This native, yellow warmblood species is endangered and there are less than 200 of them left.
