In the festively decorated city center, Christmas-themed programs entertain visitors on all four Advent weekends, while on weekdays the city’s kindergarten and elementary school children perform on the Advent stage. Each afternoon, in a renewed format, the city’s Advent calendar offers a special gift to brighten the wait – in the form of a poem, story, or song. The festive market, scented with mulled wine, is adorned with storybook-like installations, and a small train circles around the city’s Christmas tree.
