Turkish Court

The ruins of a 16th century Turkish bath were excavated here. According to the records it was built from the foundation of the Pasha of Buda, Güzeldzse (nice) Rüsztem. In the court of the building the remains of the old castle wall appeared as well. The ruins of this 14th century steam bath had been hidden until the 1980s.

The most important historical memory of the 145 year long Turkish occupation is this bath which had been built from the foundation of the Pasha of Buda, Güzeldzse Rüsztem. The bath was built in the 16th century and its ruins were excavated in the 1980s.
