Sightseeing road train
In Székesfehérvár, the sightseeing train starts its season in April, operating weather permitting. The train departs from the Royal Orb (Országalma).
Before heading out, it is highly recommened to check availability at the Tourinform office in person or contact us by phone.
A trip on the trackless train is a fantastic program for school trips, family outings, or get-togethers with friends, offering a guided tour through the city's most fascinating sights. During the winter season, it transforms into a festive "Light Train" (Fényvonat), bringing joy and colorful, exciting experiences to children, families, and tourists alike.
This train is a Hungarian-made vehicle. Its locomotive is built on a Nissan Terrano chassis, powered by a 2.7-liter, 125-horsepower diesel engine. This robust little machine has a capacity of 50 passengers. It is equipped with a PA system for guided commentary and also features roll-down rain covers to keep passengers dry. A standard tour of the city center takes approximately 40 minutes.
