Fehérvári Lecsó-cooking Gaiety

Traditional, mushroom, bean, French, egg barley, egg, peach or maybe paleo? At the lecsó-cooking weekend the famous Hungarian classic bubbles in several hundred cauldrons and in uncountable different styles. Taste what was cooked by the Lecsó-King of the city of kings!
Old recipes cannot only be renewed in the kitchen. On the streets of the Fehérvári Lecsó-cooking Gaiety enticing smells drift and several hundred teams compete for the title of the Lecsó-King hoping to hit on a combination of flavours that will become the favourite of the jury which consists of members of the public and chefs of Székesfehérvár. The two-day cooking event is complemented with culinary presentations on two stages, with family programmes and an artisan fair.
