Dinnyési Castle Park
The Castle Park is a unique show of 18 medieval Hungarian castles. The scale models, made of original materials, are placed in their original position on the path that is in the shape of Greater Hungary surrounded by the memorial columns of kings, governors and grand princes.
The uniqueness of the castles on display in Dinnyés is the result of using the original materials, wood and stone to appear as realistic as possible. Eighteen castles were built here each having the same orientation as their original. The castles are surrounded by a path in the form of Greater Hungary so the castles can be walked around in their original place. The path is lined with memorial columns each of them commemorating a Hungarian king, governor or grand prince.
These scale models provide an experience for all ages and the guided tour gives an opportunity to extend our historical knowledge.
